Free Medical Camp at Auxilium School, Caranzalem.+
The Salesian Cooperators of Caranzalem Unit organized a Free Medical Camp at Auxilium School, Caranzalem, on Sunday 19th January which was inaugurated by Sr. Meenakshi D'Silva, Provincial of the Salesian Sisters (FMA).
At the camp, a dedicated team of doctors comprising Pediatricians, General Practitioners, Dermatologists, Ophthalmologists and Dentists of St Luke’s Medical Guild, Goa assisted by volunteers attended to near 200 students.
Parents were briefed about the importance of regular health check-ups and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for their children.
Colgate Palmolive India Ltd. and ICPA Health Products sponsored dental kits comprising toothbrushes and toothpastes while
Dr. Ameeta Kenkare Kamat generously provided dental instruments for the checkup.
Speaking about the initiative, Mrs. Claris Pinto, the Unit Coordinator said, "Children are the future of our community. By prioritizing their health, we are investing in their bright and promising tomorrow."
Dr. Mimi Silveira chairperson of the Guild said she and her team of doctors were happy to be associated with the Cooperators in conducting this camp.
