Salesian Family Leaders Meet & Book Release (January 2026)

The Leaders of the Caranzalem Cooperators Unit helped to organise the program held on January 15, 2026 at Auxilium, Benaulim, Goa. The Salesian Family Leaders’ Meet 2026, held on 15 January at Auxilium, Benaulim, centred on the theme “One Family, Joyfully Serving the Young.” The gathering reflected deep communion, spiritual vitality, and shared apostolic commitment. We were enriched by the presence of our Provincials, Rev. Fr. Clive Telles and Rev. Sr. Meena D’Silva. The meet was marked by the presentation of the Strenna 2026 by Fr. Banzelao Teixeira, which inspired all to renewed dedication so as to accompany the young with hope and faith. The Sharing of Best Practices by the Leaders of the Salesian Family groups highlighted a vibrant unity in diversity,. The Eco-session “Stop and Smell the Roses” presented by Sr. Melissa D'Souza gently called participants to mindful living with Nature and care for our Common Home. A key moment was the release of the PAL Document in Konkani and Kannada by the two Provincials, this book will provide a valuable companion for Cooperators to deepen their understanding of their vocation and the Salesian charism. The meet concluded with expressions of heartfelt gratitude by Fr. Anisio Mota, the Provincial Delegate. He thanked Auxilium Benaulim for their warm hospitality and Sr. Hilda Braganza, the Provincial Delegate whose careful planning and steadfast dedication made the day truly meaningful, a moment of grace.
